3:50 A.M. Monday morning 16 January 2023 Somewhere in the USA... I realized yesterday I have 5 working stereo receivers (although one is technically an audio/video receiver): 1. Kenwood VR-209 - 100 watts/ch x 5 = 500 watts 2. Onkyo TX-8511 - 100 watts/ch x 2 = 200 watts 3. Marantz PM630 - 65 watts/ch x 2 = 130 watts 4. Onkyo TX-2500 MKII - 27 watts/ch x 2 = 54 watts 5. Marantz Model 2015 - 15 watts/ch x 2 = 30 watts Oddly enough, it is the oldest - and least powerful - of them that puts out the highest-quality sound. The Model 2015 was made between 1973 and 1975 and is simply a work-horse of the highest caliber even if it doesn't feature high-power output.
