It's been over a year now since my state (USA/Illinois) decided to legalize marijuana for recreational usage. I've been smoking it for almost 50 years and had been arrested for it and even sentenced to prison over it...and it is a danged plant. But as of January 1, 2020 I am now able to go buy it legally and sit on my front porch (if I so choose ) and smoke to my heart's content without having to be concerned I might get arrested for it. Guess I get the last laugh at all the people that used to look down their nose at me for getting high.
