I decided to remove my account at Cashrain. I don't feel comfortable being part of a site who's 'owner' is so at odds with me politically, and the closer I looked, the less I want to be associated with him in any way. But y'all have fun and enjoy the BCH rain. It's there to be had. I just don't want it.

Most are not interested in Kim's politics views.
I debated it for a few days and decided the only person I was fooling was myself - I don't impose a lot of rules on myself, and I've been known to bend them into unrecognizable shapes at times, but this kept gnawing at my subconscious.
I understand completely.
Completely understandable. And some communities there have even more bizarre views. But their BCH don't stink and you can cancel the retweet immediately if you have participated. That still keeps me there. Otherwise, the hype is also over.
I thought it over for a few days and decided to remove it first thing when I got online this morning. I'd considered continuing and just doing the 'mute' option (thereby only seeing posts if I participated in a rain) but it simply didn't feel 'right' for me.
If you cannot reconcile it with conscience, it can only be wrong. Then it was the right decision. I'm still at it but I'm looking very carefully at what I'm spreading. Edit: Is that deepl-translation ok? The first sentence look weird to me.
Yeah, that translation is good.
Thanks, don't want to sound stupid.
I'm not on in because I'm not interested in people shilling the contents of their antisocial media accounts to me. I got off Fakebook and Twatter for that reason (along with not wanting my Web activity tracked), so it makesd no sense to me to put up with that in the off chance of getting some BCH. I don't know much about his political views (and Wikipedia isn't particularly helpful there), but he seems Leftist so I've no issues with them as far as I can tell.
I have been dumping accounts many places recently, and almost didn't bother with joining it because of that (reducing my 'footprint' on the 'net), but figured I'd give it a look. However, sharing stuff on a ton of social sites only increases my footprint, which is in direct contrast with what I am trying to do, so...
Yeah, me too. I didn't write "Go Ask Moonalice; I Think She'll Know" for the sake of my own enjoyment or the tips I've earned from it. (It started as an email to a friend, after all.) Admittedly, there is more I could do to reduce my online footprint, but I'm not quite ready to pack it all in to go live in a cabin in the woods, having minimal contact with the outside world. (Much as I want to try that life, I can't afford to for a while yet.)
I've been invited to it, but I don't think I'll even try it... Even if I could have a clone, I wouldn't waste it on it 😅
