6:30 A.M. Monday 19 December 2022 Somewhere in southeastern Illinois USA And here comes Old Man Winter to help usher in Christmas. Just looked at the extended forecast and it appears Thursday - which will be the warmest day this week - will also be the coldest night. And although snow is forecast for Friday, accumulation will be less than one inch, so by Sunday when Christmas arrives it'll be gone - no white Christmas for my area this year. Currently -7 with an expected high of 1 today.

To me no white Christmas is perfectly fine with me. Hate that the extreme cold is coming, but at least we're about three months from spring already and counting. Let's just get this winter done and over with. I want to go camping. lol
Some people like snow for some odd reason, mostly because they wish it snowed where they live. I wish it would snow there instead of here myself as well. lol At least it ain't as bad as it was back in 2020 (photo).

I do not like such weather forecast.Today we had sunny day and it will be the same for the next three days.
The weather is very irregular here and in other areas even ice rain yesterday.
