Noticed something kind of cool with the new turntable. It has a glass platter instead of metal, and if you play colored vinyl, the platter picks up the color of the record. But now that I have a new turntable, and put a cartridge/stylus (needle) on it that costs almost as much as the player, and I have some really good speakers, I can hear what a piece of crap I have for an amp (actually it isn't crap but it is not audiophile quality) so tomorrow I'll make the 2½ hour drive (each way) to a vintage electronics store and pick up a new amplifier/receiver. #VinylJunkie
