Petey keeps an eye on a squirrel feeding this morning to make sure it behaves. All three of my cats enjoy watching them, but it is Emoci (my female) that will s-l-o-w-l-y creep up on them feeding on the ground and then stop a few feet away and just stare... #cats

I absolutely love watching the cats watch the squirrels.

It's good that your cats are simply staring at the squirrel and not attacking him. When my cats spot birds or squirrels, their hunting instincts kick in.
Has Petey ever caught them ?
