Wow...it's hard to believe America is 245 years old. Why, in my opinion, she doesn't look a day over 150. I can still remember when she was just a sweet young thing hardly old enough to be out on the streets of the big bad world all alone. But there she was...struttin' her stuff pretty as you please. and all the other countries were falling all over themselves trying to court her. How things have changed... Now she is loved by few, and vilified by many. Of course, she is an uppity old bitch...but she's MY uppity old bitch, and if you say anything mean or nasty to her, you'll have to answer to ME. Yes...with all her faults and failings, she is still MY America, and I love her and will defend her honor. Happy Birthday America...
