6:10 A.M. Wednesday 21 December 2022 Somewhere in southeastern Illinois USA Everyone is building up that layer of winter fat to help protect them from the cold. I noticed it in my squirrels the other day and this morning three of the raccoons appeared - fat and sassy - feeding underneath the Squirrel Tree. Maybe I'll just start telling everyone I'm simply bulking up for the winter. lol Sunrise in about an hour from now, currently -2 °C with an expected high today of 5 °C.
