3:45 P.M. CDT USA Monday May 09, 2022 Olney Illinois Thought I'd share a couple of shots I took of an Eastern Box Turtle that one of the cats (Scar) noticed passing across the front lawn this afternoon. I see a few of them each year just turtling about, not bothering anyone, and I don't bother them.

It's something I enjoy seeing but The tortoises I have living where I work at its a constant worried that someone is going to run them over. I wish to county would put signs up reminding people to watch out for tortoises crossing the road in our compound.
