So it was three years ago today that Lil' Miss Thang (Emoci) showed up unannounced. No clue where she came from, in my estimation she was between 6-9 months old. After hanging out in my side yard for a few days, on the third day she followed Scar inside when he came in the house and that was that - she's been here ever since. But about 9 months after she showed up, I thought I'd best take her in to the vet and get her spayed - so I set up an appointment and dropped her off on the scheduled day - only to get a call a few hours later saying when they shaved a place on her belly, they found a scar from where she had already been spayed. Needless to say, this intrigued me more than a bit since it meant someone had already spent money on her - but to this day she's never left the house to go 'home' so I guess she had her reasons for not wanting to be there.
