You don't get something like this very often. Out of the several thousand vinyl records I have owned over the years, only 4 of them have had sides that 'never end' - the last song on one of the sides gets recorded all the way through to the end groove so that it keeps playing until you pick up the needle from the record. On this Rush album, it is the last song on side 1 (By-Tor and the Snow Dog) - the bells at the end of the song continue ringing as long as the needle is on the record. "Yes darling, I'll take the trash out just as soon as this side finishes playing."

Ha ha. I know sneaky excuses for procrastinating when I encounter them, having uttered many of them myself ... Still, Rush is definitely up there as far as those go ... I guess it's true that vinyl records *are* better than CDs ...
