The islands that was once ruled under Manila. Spanish East Indies are groups of Islands in the Pacific controlled by Spain in which Manila served as its Administrative Capital. In 1642, Spain was expelled by Dutch forces from Formosa (Northern Taiwan), while in 1898 all of the islands in the Pacific including the Philippines were ceded to America ending the 333 years rule of Spain in the Pacific, after the fall of Spanish Manila to American forces.
