WATER STEWARDSHIP IN ACTION. 💧 As the El Niño season continues to strain water resources, #SMSupermalls said it is strengthening its water conservation efforts through rainwater harvesting, water-saving technologies, and wastewater recycling. In 2025, #SM recycled 6.6 million cubic meters of wastewater—equivalent to nearly 2,700 Olympic-sized swimming pools—while its rainwater treatment and catchment systems helped conserve water and support local communities. The initiative forms part of the SM Green Movement, which promotes sustainable water management and long-term water security.
