Bird Portrait Photography Tips: 1. Wait for that good head turn (generally parallel to the frame) 2. Get that catch light in the eye (depends on the head turn) 3. Always aim to get the pose of the bird where it looks as it's best (generally side views are always the best which shows the back of the bird and the under parts) 4. Get a clean non distracting out of focus background whenever possible. 5. Avoid any kind of out of focus branches running across the bird. 6. Avoid flat single colour background. Let there be a bit of variations in tonalities. I know, getting each of the above for every photo may not be possible, But that's what makes bird photography so interesting and challenging. See the series of birds from Costa Rica where I have tried to get all the above. #noisecash#motivation#birds #wildlife #nature #wildlifephotography #birdphotography #birds #photography #naturephotography #wild #outdoors #photooftheday #picoftheday #forest #travelphotography #safari #naturelovers #wilderness #photographer #photographytips
