A fundamental problem with democracy: democracy divides a population into a **us** vs **them** vs **everyone else** brawl. It is epitomized by **upvotes** against **downvotes**, which eventually become corruption and criminalization. The old cliche about democracy being about **two wolves and a lamb arguing over what to cook for dinner** is a truth unlearned by most. + When criminalization is disabled, then violating anyone becomes delegitimized. Criminalization is a habit of populations that needs to end. + If "public expenditures" rely solely upon donations, then corruption could subside. Perhaps, to achieve these two goals, we could help Hell freeze over, in our lifetime. Just some _Hopium_ for the day
