Rape and rapist in Nigeria

In the past few days, social media in Nigeria has being blowing up on cases of rape of young women. It all started on Twitter when a lady accused her ex boyfriend of rape, then followed by the case of the Uniben student who got raped when she went to read in a church. Many other cases of rape have been brought to the public eye due to the actions of people on social media against rape. Most people seem to be tagging rape as a male against female action forgetting that men can also be raped by women or even men. A new case of rape has been unraveled involving two males, in this case a male was raped by another male. In light of this, the public has become a little more enlightened about the topic "rape". Hopefully, the male gender won't be bad guys in the mind of people when the topic of rape arises.
