When everything was ordinary.

The sun shone really bright in the sky And this day I knew would be just as Routine and basic as every other day, But still I'd have to push harder than yesterday so that I may be one step closer to my goals today. What I knew not, today would be a very Important day. The news that was taken so lightly, Will now govern our lives daily. We were told of a virus in town, And so we all must go into a lockdown. None of us expected it to be so serious. But amidst the mundane tasks of our daily lives, We didn't realise. The laughter, The chatter, The simple moments of sunshine, All would change soon In a while. This ordinary day Will soon be remembered as the extra-ordinary days of our lives.
