Life circle of a ladybug π For some time now we have been seeing these larvae on the leaves of the hog plum tree. If I only knew Lady Bug would come out of these larvae. The black dots in the middle of the yellow to see the prisoners. These larvae feed on the leaves of the hog plum tree for at least seven to eight days and grow slowly. At one time the upper layers of the larvae tend to be thick and noisy. It takes at least 10 days to break through that thick layer and come out with a beautiful green lady-bug, as you can see in the second image. Lady bug larvae live for 10 to 15 days, after which they learn to fly like butterflies.
