Islam Here was a man named muhammad asad, was born of jew parents. Before embracing islam , he had a keen desire to belong to a community of brethren. His desire was fulfilled when he embraced islam. He says that his very first experience as a muslim among muslims was one of the brotherhood. Islam stands for the brotherhood of its followers. It knows no boundries of race, colour, status, language or piece of land. It is a religion that teaches us that all are equal before God Almighty.
