Goals for the Implementation of "Digital Bangladesh"

The goals for the implementation of Digital Bangladesh can be divided into two parts. `Namely`: 1. **The main goal** 2. **Political goals**. 1. The main goal is to transform the society of Bangladesh into a knowledge-based society instead of its underdeveloped way of life through the establishment of Digital Bangladesh. Convert all the work of the level to digital method. 2. Political Goals: There are some political goals in establishing Digital Bangladesh. ***It is briefly described below**- A) **The state of the people**: ‘The realization of the dream of a better life of the people using digital tools, the protection of basic human rights, the protection of all constitutional rights will be guaranteed. This technology will be made available and affordable to the people of this state. B) **The basic needs of the state must be met**: the state must meet the minimum basic needs of the people. In order for people to be able to make a living, they need to be taught the use of digital technology and that technology must be made available to them by the state. "Poor people need to be developed as knowledge workers or digital technology workers and digital technology needs to be widely applied in rural areas including knowledge-based economy, talent and knowledge-based industries and trades, agriculture, education, telecommunications, etc." C) **Political trend**: The goal of Digital Bangladesh is to run all political parties and other political activities and systems digitally, including the government and the national parliament, so that the people can always participate in the parliament, government and politics in an interactive manner. ★**Digital Bangladesh Program**: The programs that have been taken to build a digital Bangladesh include: digitizing the way government works, delivering services to the doorsteps of the people, digital land management, judiciary, digital healthcare, digital security and defense, digitalizing education, agriculture, Digital transformation of commerce system, introduction of digital system in communication system, adoption of digital system for free movement of information. ★**Progress**: In the first year of Digital Bangladesh Declaration, its foundation or first step has been firmly laid. The government has approved the ICT policy, taking steps to implement it, introducing e-commerce, licensing new technologies, changing the way the government works. ★**Some expectations**: Wireless high-speed Internet WiMAX should be readily available and spread across the country — this is everyone's expectation. ‘Hopefully, the government will soon start work on the second submarine cable network in Bangladesh.’ ‘About 80 per cent of the people in Bangladesh live in villages. If we can make the rural people interested in information technology, then Bangladesh can be built as a digital country. ' ★**Warning on Digital Bangladesh**: If the Digital Bangladesh program is implemented in Bangladesh, the digital device may expand as a result, which may be more helpful for the exploiters, rich or special communities, class-groups who benefit from Digital Bangladesh. But in a knowledge-based society, the lives of people without opportunities can be more difficult as they are ignorant. "`Digital Bangladesh`" is not only a project for the Bangladeshi, it is a big dream for all of the people of this country.
