Analgesics are medication that reduces pain by either reducing inflammation or by changing brain interpretation of pain. They are NSAID drugs. For example Diclofenac Sodium. It's non steroidal because it don't have the structure of steroids. They also work by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes. Thus reduce production of prostaglandin which is the key component to produce pain signals. As an NSAID, Diclofenac block activity of cyclooxygenase therefore reduces pain.
