We all know about suppositories. A most common dosage form!! Let's know about some of it's disadvantages. 1.Irritant drug can't be administered. 2.Embarrassing to patient. 3.Need to store at low temperature. 4.Cost expensive. 5.Can't easily prepared. 6.Defecation may interrupt the absorption process.
