Hypertension can be defined as persistent rise of blood pressure in respect of age amd gender where the systolic pressure is more than 140 mmHg and diastolic pressure is more than 90 mmHg. It cam cause : Myocardial infarction, Hypertension cardiomyopathy, Heart failure, Stroke, Hypertension neuropathy etc. Can be reduced by Antihypertensive drugs. Some common Antihypertensive drugs we need to know are: 1.Furosemides, 2. Nifedipine, 3. Atenolol, 4. Propranolol, 5.Lisinopril, 6. Ramipril, 7.Prazosin, 8.Terazosin etc
