Another nature discovery from our garden... I got such a fright. Whilst sitting by my daughter outside my food suddenly got covered in ants, I look down to see what all the fuss is about and to clear them off my foot, only to then notice what they were trying to protect! They were carrying this little guy off to an early grave, so being the nature lovers that we are we decided to save him and assist him battling the remainder of the ants. He is safe now and recovering from his ordeal. #Naturelover

If I am honest... I am struggling to keep up with all the different crypto things. I have 35+ tabs open on my phone permanently and each of them is for a different crypto something or other. This is besides still wanting or more needing to design (both for work and for crypto), needing to write and being a full time parent. I am considering narrowing my focus, I find it difficult to decide what exactly to focus on as whatever I choose to focus on needs to be profitable... #Cryptolife

Whilst unpacking some of the last boxes today, I stumbled across this gargantuan stack of scribbled upon paper... much to my surprise, as well as horror, it is a collection of writing, my writing, dating as far back as 2004. Yeah, some of this stuff is pure dribble, there are some gems in there too. I have decided that I will be systematically releasing these on read.cash. I will type them out one by one just for all you wonderful folk to read. Don’t judge though, some of these were written by an angsty teenage me... hahahah

So I did this thing in the early hours of this morning, the people of this planet seem to do it rather often and mostly when vision starts failing because of the darkening caused by the weird axial shift of their planet. They call it sleep. It is super lively! Oh my oh me how I did enjoy it. I can understand their fondness of this sleep thing as a pastime or hobby. I think I shall do it again next week.

I had some success on wax today, managed to sell a couple of goodies and made a tidy profit. Now for my other collections to gain some value... really excited about what is still to come. My own releases as well as other rad childhood nostalgia. #NfTs

Can you imagine what lovely food you could make with these juicy fresh red peppers? I walked into our local super market and saw these, they were so vividly red I couldn’t resist taking a photo of them. I will not be releasing the coins/tokens today as planned. I still have too much work to do on them, I’m also learning new programs so it is taking a bit longer than I originally thought it would. There is also a side project that I am currently working on to further the mass adoption cause and create more awareness for NFTs and their value in the greater cryptosphere. BCH has opened my eyes to so many great possibilities I’m struggling to keep up with my own thoughts.

[vegan/vegetarian trigger warning] in SA we believe in the measure of meat. Meat makes a meal. A measure of a man is measured by the skill with which he can cook his meat on a fire. This is braai town brah. We have some lekka pork spin wheels (the twirly goodies on the side) then we have us some sheeps (lamb chops top) and lastly just a moo for measure (beef porterhouse steak). It is actually cheaper to live of meat in our town than it is to live of veggies (unless you grow them yourself ;) {this post is a bit tongue in cheek}

Unfortunately this fire is not burning for the purpose I would like it to burn for... although this particular fire has a noble purpose, a very necessary purposeful purpose. This particular fire is a food fire... the one I wish for, dream for, the fire that burns in me is the fire of the forge. Forge fire the most powerful and innovative fire of all fires. Without the fire of the forge there would be no tools. No tools no tech. No tech no crypto. Yes, the fire that forges is my future.

Another step in the right direction... the RedRo series is a test run, as it is my first time doing animation of any kind. This is however setting me up to deliver higher quality NFTs and also to possibly get some backing to do this for big projects. I am looking forward to minting my first NFT animated token as well as getting my portfolio going on the various NFT platforms. #NfTs

Ok, I wasn't busy with it for the full 3 hours. I did struggle getting the back to not appear mirrored. I managed eventually, thank you to my wife for helping me overcome that hurdle. This is only the beginning!!! Probably need to work more on the rotation time... seems a bit laggy and could be smoother.

So the noise.cash early adopters token project is nearing completion. I have some final documentation to write down and then start the minting process. Which all goes very quickly, it was the actual designing which took time... hopefully they will be released and ready for sale by Monday next week. I will be minting a NFT for every NCEA token that was minted. 2000 total broken up into 5 levels of rarity... all work is my own and my property until it goes for sale. Any replication of it can lead to legal proceedings. (Image quality is poor on purpose to ensure it cannot easily be copied) #NoiseCash

I was wondering how much people are willing to pay for a custom made SLP token NFT... similar to what I am doing for the NCEA token. Do you think it will become a collectible? I am exploring the BCH blockchain’s possibilities, trying to figure out what would be the most supported creative aspect of BCH and the blockchain in general... share some insight? Shed some light for me...

Almost done with the NCEA (Noisecash early adopters) token. This will be made into an NFT to go with the NCEA token that was created by Francis and distributed among some of the early members. Hope it will add extra value to the token as well as to noise.cash and BCH. #NoiseCash

I am pretty darn excited right about now... CST (Crypto Sorted Token) which is an SLP token project of BCH has gone up to 1$. When I started getting it about 2 weeks ago it was only 0.47$. This is growth... The best part is I earn more BCH with my CST. #Club1Bch

This evenings sunset hunt was very successful, we decided to to take a bit of a drive out of town, you know, a proper hunt, go looking for the damn sun setting because sometimes Helios is tricksy like that, cat and mouse... We did not have to drive far, over the first hill and wham! in your face, one of thee most epicus sunsets I think I have ever seen in my entire life. This image barely does it any justice, the mountains looked painted, the clouds were wisps of fiery cotton candy, the sky itself was pure emotion, everything else disappeared and was barely noticed as Helios painted the most beautiful piece of art. #SunsetPhotography

I’ve spent the day trying to figure things out... things about life, things about art, things about crypto and things about well... things. Life brought this to me: how big is your comfort zone? Art gave me this: perspective is only there to be shifted. Crypto on this day taught me: simple questions often bring the greatest rewards. And den dem tings: there is always room for kindness and a tune or two. Ask questions, challenge your perspective, step outside of your comfort zone and always sing your song. #Knowthyself

Juungle.net where can we improve? Have you tried the juungle.net NFT platform powered by BCH SLP? You should... The purpose of this article will be to see where we could possibly suggest improvements for the platform, as it is still fairly new there is lots of scope for growth. Currently the platform is housing many artists and there will be many more once people realize how wonderful the platform is... Creating NFTs, or should I rather say minting NFTs for the platform is really simple, the process is done on Electron Cash SLP wallet for desktop, one creates a parent token from which one mints child tokens which are then the NFTs. The costs involved are nearly non existent, $0.01 per minting. Loading the NFTs to jungle is even simpler, one just sends them to the wallet address provided within the platform, from there you set your price and that is it basically. You have NFTs for sale. Some things I have noticed as a creator that have made me wonder how one could improve is that there are creators that mint a lot more tokens than others, with this there are some listings that vanish and unless you can remember the exact name of the listing you have to sift through pages before you are likely to find it. This brought me to the following idea... Would it not be better for all artist and creators if only a single item per collection were displayed on the home page of the market place, as an introduction to the collection as well as giving viewers a better idea of all that is available on the market place? Another idea would be to give each creator or seller a profile and having the profiles displayed on the homepage. Both of these would most likely require some serious time from the devs, who I am sure wouldn't mind a hand. So if you have the skill and would like to help, why not reach out and avail yourself. Further improvements on the platform could include giving the creators or sellers the ability to auto adjust the price of a listing over a period of time, either have the price go up or down after lets say a week or two weeks. These are just ideas that I think could improve the user experience on juungle.net, I am sure there are others with even better ideas or the ability to actually implement their ideas, I know @VideoGameDana is currently working on a bulk pricing goody which would make the life of some of the creators much easier. There are also some really cool initiatives from some of the members running NFT faucets and giveaways... more of that in my next post. The disparity line... It has become more and more evident that there is a serious disparity in this world of ours, that disparity has now started entering the cryptosphere. As someone fairly new to the crypto social sphere that is trying to build up a following through authenticity there are some things that just cannot go unnoticed. There are those who manage to go cross platform with ease, disregarding the wishes of a platform, ignoring its goals to create awareness and community, people who have built large followings on other platforms and then drag those followings with them to other platforms where they gain more followers by voice of those they brought from the other platform, those same individuals then play lawman and cry crime when there is an expectancy for them to play fair and play according to a platforms rules. These same individuals who take a platform of diversity, a place for all and turn it to a place for those in the know with crypto, a place for crypto only when that was never the platforms goal or wish. As a creative individual who has most of his life struggled to get anywhere on his creative merit this upsets me more so. There are fewer and fewer places that truly value creativity and the individuals who supply the true creativity. The platforms that are meant for creatives are quickly flooded with those looking to make a quick buck or those who do not truly need any more exposure nor do they need a larger following, leaving those who are doing their damnedest to create authentically in the dust. This creates a serious despondency in those individuals, who then leave their creative endeavors for some other soul stealing opportunity if they can even find one of those. This same atmosphere leaves them feeling unwelcomed and unseen, unwilling to further contribute simply because they aren't in the know with crypto. This is the end of this particular thought pattern... Please feel free to share your thoughts and feelings. Peace out. RedRo
