What is airdrop and why do I get it for holding Rug? Airdrops, not faucets: A faucet is a constant drip feed of small amounts of the rooms primary token given out to people to drive up interest. Air drops are handed out to people already holding the coin as a reward on investment usually with a max amount to be credited. It's the same as holding stocks, you get a dividend for investing in the company. Air drops are usually not the token you're holding with a mix of other community projects. This means that air drop tokens are a good hub for finding new groups and generally can help new tokens starting out find investors or get their word out. People getting your token of course can always sell but they'll know you exist and they might want to know more. Faucets meanwhile are made to draw personal attention to the project hosting them. Rug's air drops are decided by the current price of rug, as the price fluctuates so does the amount of token being handed out to the people holding rug. Currently there's 5-10% interest being handed out weekly in the air drop room with the last tokens being used were: Mist SEP20 Honk SEP20 Cyfrog SLP RNEW SLP Cats SEP20 Up to 100 rug were being credited with the middle users holding around 20-40. This means weekly people could get good returns on their rug while rug continues working on itself as a token and growing it's use cases and customer base. The tokens you get aren't free, they're the return on the rug you're holding and that's why you get them. Non rug holders don't get these tokens and it's part of how rug gives back to it's users without just buying dips and selling highs. If I talk about Rug Rug token, then It was great idea to reward all Rug Rug token holders. It was rear reward system introduced by you. I hope you can approach in better way to others as well. BCH community will like your efforts, put all of them in positive sense.
I can't claim the credit! The first time I saw this it was being done by Refund token on SLP.
