Prologue

Surrey, England

24 July 1988

Petunia Dursley nee Evans's life had ended up for the better ever since his nephew found her cassette tape collection. She knew that as the boy changed over the course of a week. At the end of the week, she approached the boy by his room on the cupboard and caught him listening to one of her own tapes. She watched as he flailed and attempted to hide the tapes.

She sighed. "Harry, come here, I want to apologize to you." She knelt down and hugged him. "I know we haven't exactly been a bit friendly, but that is because of your freakishness, which is simply unnatural at all, you know."

"Yes, Aunt Petunia… I'll just…" Harry went and removed the headset from his head, dumbstruck. "I'm gonna get a flogging from Uncle Vernon… am I?"

She raises an eyebrow. "No. Don't worry about it. I might as well bring you to yoga class to get more. God knows how many I missed."

"But what about Uncle Vernon?" Harry looks around. "I mean I still need to do chores and all…"

She internally winced. This was the most favored grandchild of her parents. She mentally noted to lessen her family's bullying of him. "Don't worry, I got it."

31 July 1988

Harry Potter was a little confused at first. He knew that cults were bad and they hid in bad places, but then the cult Aunt Petunia was in was the nicest cult he had ever seen or heard. It's cover even sounded normal, being called EagleEye Industries. Its name is Eagle's Eye, and its symbol was an inverted triangle with an eye inside.

The meeting place was a simple office complex with the building blending with its surroundings. Its basement was a firing range and the upper floors were an obstacle course. The other floors were regular office stalls and living rooms.

After being given lunch told to wait in one of the office cubicles, he would eat it in silence. He wondered why his Aunt would visit one of these things when he knew that it was a freaky thing. He didn't even notice a balloon float close to him until it popped right in front of his face and a small piece of paper fell out of the balloon, greeting him with a Happy Birthday.

After what seemed to be forever, he stood up and saw a bunch of people waving over with a cake in their hands. At first, he looked around to check if there was someone else with him and it was sent wrong. After a few seconds of silence, facing the others, he pointed to the cake.

"Is that for me?" He asked as he approached the cake with curiosity until his eyes landed on the cake's surface and saw his name on it.

One of the people holding the cake, Aunt Petunia herself, went over to place the cake on a nearby table and knelt down, hugging him. He felt tears from her face, and for the most part, he was confused. When they stopped hugging, he saw someone and watched as the person brought him a small pamphlet. Harry took the pamphlet and glanced at the person's green eyes and tired yet hopeful face.

The person smiled and looked over to Petunia, noticing her aunt's recoiling expression, before glancing over to him.

Chapter 1

The Receiver and The Wizard

"Get up, boy! It's Dudley's birthday!"

Harry Potter had already woken up beforehand, fixing up his simple yet elegant room at the cupboard.

Ever since he was eight years old, his Aunt Petunia had changed course and started treating him nicely. Uncle Vernon and cousin Dudley soon followed aunt Petunia's footsteps after Harry had told them that he had forgiven them from their abuse and bullying, and he had promised to let things be. Of course, he still allowed them to call him names and do chores, but he had joined them in the table, and Dudley's grades had significantly improved after Harry decided to teach him some tricks on becoming better in return for making "Harry Hunting" a little friendlier. Dudley still beat him up, but it wasn't as hard as before, and Harry was actually feeding unto his cousin's spoiled behavior.

As he opened the door to the cupboard, stepping out he saw that there were presents ready for Dudley. He counted then frowned as he was sure that Dudley won't be happy about it, having less than his presents last year. Preparing for a regular birthday special of eggs and toast, he lent an ear towards the news for the day.

Dudley, predictably, was upset at the number of presents he had obtained for his birthday. Vernon was talking about the booming business of Grunnings, a company that sold drills, and Aunt Petunia was tending to Dudley by promising to buy two more presents until Harry heard the doorbell ring. Harry finished off preparing the food for the family and went to open the door for Dudley's friend Piers Polkiss. He gently waved as he stepped aside and took a nearby broom, cleaning off dust.

"Boy! Get dressed. Our neighbor broke her leg and you can't obviously stay there," Vernon barked.

Harry rolled his eyes once he was out of sight. He had proven to the Dursleys that he was very important to their success, and he didn't like Mrs. Figg one bit because of the cats. His relatives didn't either.

"What do you mean you don't know what happened!?" Petunia clarified. "Didn't you promise to not use your freak nature to not hurt anyone in return we don't hurt you?"

"Yes, but I swear, I didn't do that!" Harry pleaded. "Even I was surprised that the glass vanished."

Their zoo visit turned for the worse as Piers and Dudley were looking at the animals, and Harry was left talking to a boa constrictor which, in the moment of surprise, had attracted Dudley and Piers back to the snake. However, Harry's magic had struck while he wished that the snake was freed. As he was leaning on the glass, the glass vanished, Harry managed to save Dudley from falling towards the cage, unlike the less unfortunate Piers who was shocked to find himself trapped.

After sending Piers home, the whole Dursley household was not in a good mood, especially Harry himself. He quietly remembered the breathing lessons he learned from Eagle's Eye training lessons. Aunt Petunia had gotten into a similar fashion, but uncle Vernon had not received the tapes and had decided as a punishment a whole night in his cupboard. Harry grimaced as he watched the outside lock be used on the cupboard.

He sighed as he sat on his bed, and looked around before putting up a cassette tape player headset and started to listen until he fell asleep.

Harry Potter woke up sweating. He had the most peculiar of dreams, one of which the Mindkill happened. He didn't see everyone, and every step forward was littered with drones, turrets, and cassette tapes. He knew that he had been training on using various handguns, and he had been trained to use a cassette tape and a floppy disk. But his dream felt too real, and he wondered if that was what Eagle's Eye was warning about.

He did see that person who gave the pamphlet about the cult, though. He felt like he had seen him before.
