In a way, I like the fact that money is no longer the main focus of the site. Well, mostly. We're still a BCH social media site, after all.

My hope (actually BECAUSE I am deep into crypto) is that this site will get more and more normal users just using it as a SoMe, while using the tip system as both casual likes/tips and perhaps even as a sort of payment system friend to friend....something like: "Hi thanks for dinner yesterday. Here is my contribution :-) "-type of sending/receiving. That way we are one step closer to not needing bankster legacy payment systems and because it is actually easy.
Who knows, maybe we'll get to use noise.cash more often now that the money aspect, aka the heart-based tips, is now gone and doesn't even do a ping.
But they (hearts) still do pay sometimes from the faucet right? But yea, it is nice that there is less focus on that compared to "real" tips.
