While walking on the roadside in town this morning, the place was flooded with people. Everyone's wearing their facemasks, some are using their face shields, while others made it as their headband. Passing thru each store, I also saw those devices that check our temperatures, with hand sanitizers beside. Or the guard has to scan the forehead of the people entering the stores. Good thing, people obey the rules implemented. Just that, since the town was small to accommodate big numbers of people, a one-meter distance was impossible to maintain.
Ongoing road constructions were seen as well. While workers do that, traffic seemed to continue.
A bustling sound of people in the market deafens me. Sellers: "Buy this and that, it's healthy..." Buyers: "This looks good, how much is this? Can I get a discount please?" Sellers were shouting as well as buyers. The sounds of the jeepneys, tracks, taxis, cars passing by were added to the noise.
If we pass the bus terminals, and van terminals, we will read a poster that says: "No Vaccine Card. No Ride." I don't know if everyone's available to have their vaccines yet. But not yet for me. Whew!
My mom and sister came yesterday by van. Thankfully, they were not requested to show their vaccine cards since they don't have one yet. My mom just got her first dose of vaccination. And this morning, I accompanied them to the road. They took a taxi and went straight to the van terminal. Unexpectedly, the van from the city to the province, don't ride passengers without their vaccine cards. Thankfully, they were still there before 9:00am so they went to the bus terminal. And yes, they rode in it. Thank God. I was really worried with my mom and my sister's condition.
They came because there was an important matter to be solved that involved big sum of money. I hope that, this mistake done by one of our family members will not happen since this was the third time already. Or else, we always have the right to complain as well. Hehe. Our parents are not getting any longer so we wanted them to live the life they want. Spending their pensions freely. Rather than paying useless big loans from someone who's done it several times. Hehe. For me, my only opinion was, to cut borrowing from others completely. Reflect and do thy best in life. Think if your children's future studies and save up instead. They're growing fast.
We want our own family to maintain our reputations and dignity. Especially that we carry the surnames of our parents/ grandparents/great-grandparents...
How about you, will you choose to give headaches to your parents because of repeated mistakes involving money? Of course not, right? Because we love them so much unconditionally. But, if you're selfish, then, you'll learn your big lesson one day.
So yeah, just a straight article I made this day. From describing what I saw in the town, until telling a little bit of story of what happened today. I woke up so early by the way at 5:10am. Hehehe. For the first time again. Haha.
So that's it. Thank you so much for reading. God bless us! βΊοΈ
Big headache when one borrows with exorbitant interests. Buti sana kung nagamit sa maganda.
