I took a picture of this wood on my way to work. Its owner left it out in the rain and now it will have to be dried. You cannot put wet wood in the stove. It has been raining here for 2 days and the temperature is only 5 degrees. Now I'm at work and my office is heated by a 1000W electric heater. I'm warm. Thank you. 🙏

Campfire Wood
It should be ready for cold days ahead. In the news there are snow storms in some parts of New York and they have a power cut for a couple of hours and they are using electric heater so they were afraid they will get cold with a high snow outside. I think it's better to have both electric and a fireplace if your in a place with winter just in case.
Here it always rain in the morning and night .. Its difficult to dry the clothes outside.During these months people here prefer to use gastoves instead and in summer they gathered firewoods and let it dry then they stocks it for rainy seasons
