This Rhododendron japonicum is blooming now. It has very large bell flowers and a pungent scent. I came closer and the big hornet guarding this bush didn't like that. I had to back up slowly 🏃♂️🐝 Btw: in the last picture I show you my wife's new watch ⌚

Today I borrowed a book called Volha. The series Volha had 5 parts and was widely watched on Czech television, where the main character worked during communism.
