For me, financial freedom is the ability to passively generate income without having to work. This can be shocking especially for generations that grew up with the habit of work as a source of our income. From my point of view, these two ways of seeing life do not have to be at odds. You can be financially free and also work on something that you are passionate about and be useful to society. In my particular case, being an engineer by profession, I decided to stop working to dedicate myself to raising and educating my daughter. Being able to be with her, accompany her in her education and participate actively in her life is one of the most rewarding activities I have done. But since man does not live by bread alone, I am looking for a way to generate income without sacrificing the time I dedicate to my family. To begin, the first thing I did was to put my finances in order, to know what my basic expenses are, my possible income. Anyway my budget. Once this is done, look for a way to save on my expenses, in such a way as to use the excess money to invest and generate passive income.
