When I was in school I read the novel "Roses on credit" by the Russian-French writer Elsa Triolet. Where the story of Martín is told, a young woman who enters the world of consumerism on credit and ends up being eaten by rats. In a way this novel made purchases and borrow money something that I treat with extreme caution and reserve. I recognize that credits play an important role in the consumption of families and therefore of nations. They allow us to buy goods, services or, in the case of mortgage loans, to buy houses or land. Allowing millions of people access to goods and services that they could not otherwise satisfy. We enjoy its benefits on a daily basis, forgetting that in addition to being very useful, buying on credit also means getting instant debt. Purchase on credit and borrow money, like all financial resources, must be used wisely and judiciously. Checking how they work, how much it will cost us and when we must make each payment. The best of plans can be destroyed by elements beyond our control and can result in our inability to pay our debts. In the crypto world there are several platforms that allow us to borrow money by putting our cryptocurrencies as collateral. Valid option that allows us to take advantage of investment opportunities without having to sell our cryptocurrencies. But it is very important to know the risks that this entails. We must know all the details: the amount of collateral that we must contribute, the duration of the loan, the payments to be made and the dates. It is also very important to know the alert and liquidation levels in case the collateral deposited falls below these levels. It should be noted that if the collateral falls below the liquidation level, the loan operation is closed and we lost our collateral. On these platforms we can also lend our cryptocurrencies and receive an interest for it. Remember this is not financial advice, it is information for educational purposes only. Thank you very much for reading me and always keep the will to make your dreams come true. #leofinance #crypto #finance #PersonalFinance
