Don't Fear The Dip (Why Crashes Don't Ultimately Matter) Don't fear the dip. If there's anything that this Trump Administration has done, it's been using the threat of tariffs as negotiating leverage. Look back on the "Liberation Day" from earlier this year (April 2, 2025), when markets had a crashing moment.
We have long since recovered from that form. I believe that this recent 100% tariff threat against China is more of the same. The old adage goes buy fear, sell greed. It would seem that we are definitely in a fear moment. I compare this moment to April 2025, when Bitcoin went from 84k to 75k. Long-term investing always seems to win out. Dollar cost averaging remains a great strategy. Invest a set amount at set intervals, regardless of bear or bull market conditions. If you are saving for the long run, crashes and dips won't matter. If you are a trader, hopefully you had some tight stops in place. I personally have got caught up in the trading of Solana meme coins. I've had some big winners in Troll coin, Rage guy, Gigachad, and Fwog. I have also seen a handful of rug pulls during this crazy alt season. I can't forget the big one that got us here, BTC. I might just be adding a little bit extra on this dip. After all, it has worked for me for the past 5 years. Why should the next 5 be any different?
