On this day, 11 April 2006, the game Tomb Raider: Legend. Tomb Raider: Legend is an action-adventure platformer released in 2006 by Crystal Dynamics. It is the seventh installment of the Tomb Raider series and the restart of Lara Croft's story, after the unsuccessful previous project The Angel of Darkness. The game received positive reviews for its updated gameplay, style and return to the series' roots. It also launched a new trilogy for Lara, which was continued by Tomb Raider: Anniversary and Tomb Raider: Underworld.
