Crypto and philosophy collide

Is it good to be on top of crypto? In the never ending hole of alt coins, block chains, defi tanks, nft’s and the like how much of it should we pay attention to? How much can we pay attention to? There is something to be said to staying in the know about the unstoppable and inevitable force that is the crypto space. We all must accept that and choose how we want to get started. Stand on the edge watching others splash around, dip your toes in slowly and branch off or dive into the deep end and see where it leads you. I have come to understand that it is too far stretching and too wide to do the latter. You will drown in lost hours and money only to find that you know less. It is akin to studying the universe. Once you learn the infinality of it you quickly can be paralyzed and lost. There are too many rabbit holes that are only being tested at the beginning stages that you won’t find proper footing if you try to diversify. At this point it is also beyond acceptable to be the person at the table saying crypto just isn’t for me or it is just gambling. This level of head in the sand is a sure sign of fear that you are too far behind to catch up. In one way or another crypto is coming for all of us and you don’t want to be left clueless. So where does that leave us? Dip your toes in. Don’t fomo into the next doge pump or buy every coin hoping to hit the next spike. Instead treat it like a learning curve and simply make a transaction. Focus not on gains but on creating your digital footprint that you can find your footing in this space. Your digital wallet. Start with a small amount of money focus on how the system works instead of how to make the next dollar. We have time. Every week try to learn one more thing you can do with your new digital footprint and expand it. Settle into it instead of transfering money in, out and around it. Once you are comfortable with that take one more step. After a couple of months you will know far more than your buddies talking nft headlines or reading off @cryptowannabees tweets and you will actually be positioned for the future in every direction it could take with a foundational understanding more powerful than any run up. Stay humble, stay disciplined and trust in knowledge over greed.
