Built on an isolated peak in Xiaolong Mountain in northwest China's Gansu Province, the Maijishan Grottoes houses 10,632 clay and stone sculptures, and more than 1,300 square meters of murals. Apart from its reputation, the "Oriental Sculpture Art Gallery", the area is also home to rich biodiversity and various landscapes.
