Winter 2021 anime officially started with these 3 big sequels. I didn't include Re:Zero cause I will save it to last. We will watch it together later with my friends and siblings and besides we know that this sequel will be totally lit. That's why I will only review this 3 big names first.

These season holds so much promise because of so much big animes clashing with each other for this season. And in this article, I will going to give my reactions and insights regarding to this anime's first episode and what we will expect from the remaining ones.

Promised Neverland (Season 2)

Genre: Sci-Fi Mystery Psychological Shounen Thriller

The sequel of the hit anime series of 2019 is here. We can finally see again the kids of Grace Field House and their adventure as they escape from that hellish place.

I already finished the manga so I already know what will happen. At first I have a few doubts on about how will they animate this season. Because as the story transitioned from a prison escape to adventure into an unknown world, the settings also changed. And thank goodness Cloverworks Studio didn't disappoint me.

The animation nailed it! The vibes and art from the manga perfectly turned into an anime. And the sound effects, it gives me goosebumps the whole time. I already know that this arc will be lit but I didn't expect that the anime adaptation will be this much better. The opening and ending song is also one you need to check. Its surprisingly good and you don't want to skip it. Overall I will give this episode a 10/10.

What to expect?

The story will be expectedly good. I saw the news online that this season will only be composed of 11 Episode. That's why I can confirm that in this season, Goldy Pond arc will be excluded. I don't know if that arc will be on Season 3, but I have a huge feeling that it will be turned into a movie. Nevertheless this season will be awesome and the ending will shock everyone. I will not spoil you and If you haven't read the manga yet, I suggest you not. It will ruin the element of surprise.

Cells at Work (Season 2)

Genre: Comedy Shounen

The cells continue to work for this season. We can finally see again the adorable platelets, the always getting lost red blood cells and the energetic white blood cell.

This new season of Cells at Work is a mystery for me. I haven't read the manga yet so I'm excited for what will going to happen. And for this first episode, I find it average.

The animation is given for its unique, simple and clean work. But the story for this episode isn't interesting at all. It is just like the story from the season one "Heat Stroke" but the difference is, this episode is sponsored by Pocari Sweat (lol). I have nothing to say at the sound and music since they didn't have an opening/ending song yet. But still its a fun experience and I'm happy to see this very informative anime again. Overall Score 8/10.

What to expect?

I don't know too. The next episodes is a mystery for me too. But I do hope for more screen time to platelets. The next story will expected to surprise us and lets just wait for its official opening and ending song.

Beastars (Season 2)

Genre: Psychological Shounen Slice of Life Drama

Don't get fooled by this anime. This may looks like Zootopia but this story is not intended for children at all. Lets see what will happen to our boy Legoshi as they introduce a new character. Will it be an ally or an enemy?

This season will be more darker than the first. And what will happen to the relationship of Haru and Legoshi. There are so much more to expect from this anime and if you haven't watched this anime yet, I'm telling its not too late.

The animation is really smooth, as expected from CGI. Although not all viewer like CG's anime because they say that its annoying. But I can assure you that the use of CG in this anime is perfect. Its not too annoying and in fact the face reactions is very realistic. The sound effects is also well executed and the opening song is way too perfect. Especially that Yaosobi is the creator for the opening song and I really love their song (one of my favorite Japanese music Artists). Not really that much happened for the first episode but its a good episode to start this show. Now I can't wait for the next one. Overall I'll rate this episode 9/10.

What to expect?

We can expect more character development for Legoshi and others, since I love this anime for its smooth character developments. I also expect that this story will be much more amazing than the first one and I can't wait to learn more about this new and mysterious character.

This 3 anime really did make a good start for this season and I have a huge expectation for the next one. The competition for the anime this season is really intense. Its a good sign that 2021 will be a good year.
