I'm hungry but I am not yet finished cooking my Pork Adobo. Easy to cook, and less ingredients. Commodities' prices are continuously getting higher so I only cook foods that doesn't requires lots of ingredients so I can save some pennies. We all want to eat healthy foods, but the prices of our so-called "healthy foods" are so expensive now. So we just need to be wiser in buying and spending our money. Happy Wednesday! We just finished our lunch. I have a leftover Pork Adobo from our dinner last night so I bought some veggies and mixed it to make another meal for our lunch. No foods should be wasted. It's been raining since morning. What a cold night. I want the rain to stop now. I'm worried about my son. He's not yet home. I know he's encountering traffic jam now. I prepared a special dinner for him. He loves my Baked Cheesy Mashed Potatoes with my own version of gravy. Stir fried noodles. And his favorite Spam on a stick. Blessed Sunday to All! Tomorrow will be our Barangay Fiesta. Our patron saint is Sto. Domingo . And today starts our celebration with parades. In these photos are the parades of zumba groups members of our barangay. Nice to see women in different age. From teenagers to seniors. A lot of our senior citizens are so active in zumba. Lots of parades and procession today here in our Barangay. Tomorrow is our Barangay Fiesta. The neighborhoods are so busy cooking and preparing different dishes for tomorrow, and so my store is so busy today. Am so tired actually, but excited for tomorrow. My sister sent this Pork Bicol Express for my dinner. I need to have an early sleep tonight because I know tomorrow will be busier. I just received a free Fruit, It's a Dragon Fruit! ..... from my cousin. They came from their province in Cavite and attended a Fiesta, then harvested some of these from their relative's farm. I am ready! It's dinner time, and I just prepared my Pork Sinigang. Hot broth of this matches this kind of cold weather. This is my all time favorite. When I was working abroad, I cooked this most of the time especially during winter season. This dish also gave me extra income. It's a stressful day for me. Went to my Mom's place, and visited my Dad. Mom called me this morning crying, she told me Dad is so weak. He can't even stand. I went there and feed him. My heart is broken seeing him like that. Though he is suffering with Dementia and Cancer, he still recognized me. Before I left the house, I prepared his lunch and feed him again.
