This chart seems to confirm that we’re in a bear market. In my opinion, I think that this is going to be the shortest bear market thus far. This opinion is based on the duration of the preceding bear periods. The trend is that bear periods have been getting shorter and shorter. As the saying goes, “only time will tell.”
