A few years ago, you would mention to someone that you hold some crypto and they would just look at you funny. But nowadays, crypto has become so popular/profitable such that hackers and attackers are willing to do anything to get their hands on your crypto. Mentioning to someone that you own some crypto might expose you to a potential attack from people who want to steal your crypto. Don't let anyone know that you have crypto.
