The Cathedral of Santa Sofia dates back to the 11th century. It is a monument of architecture, mosaics and faith. It receives the name of Santa Sofia from ancient times, it started out as wood, it was burned down in 1017, it was demolished by the Soviet Union, but it was always Restored.Ancient symbol of the Orthodox Church, it currently serves as a museum and center for the protection of historical archives.This monument, declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, is in danger from Russian bombing.If something else happens to it, they will surely restore it. #WarInUkraine #NoMoreWar
