❗❗❗A MUST READ❇❗❗❗ Courtesy of @Eneidaperez @Eneidaperez is a Professor, who works at the Faculty of Engineering of the Central University of Venezuela. She is a Civil Engineer and Geodesist with a PhD in Engineering Sciences, and also a nurse. WHAT VENEZUELA IS TURNING TO THE BITTER TRUTH 😑😑 I was having a conversation with @Eneidaperez about her country Venezuela 🇻🇪, and this below was the outcome of the conversation *How life is in Venezuela currently and how they treat humans like scumbags.* The question was: "Are you really serious about the salary over in Venezuela?" And this was her reply below. "exactly and I am talking about the most competitive professors, those of us who are doctors and pot doctors and also have more than 10 years of service and qualification as consultants by the union to which we belong, in my case the College of Engineers of Venezuela . In Venezuela, the integral minimum wage is Bs 7.00/month and at the official exchange rate set by the Central Bank of Venezuela, that is equivalent to $1.52/month and falling because there is no fixed rate and hyperinflation eats up wages every day, my projection is that for February that minimum salary will be $1.4/month and mine as a University Professor will be $10.12/month; that implies that we all have to have income alternatives. The Basic Food Basket costs Bs 1,702.00 ($370) per month for a family of 4 people, consequently, if two people work in a family nucleus, the monthly income is $14, which implies that each Venezuelan family lacks $356 just for buy food, without taking into account that we still have to pay for public services and hygiene and cleaning products, otherwise we have not thought about buying clothes, shoes or on vacation for a long time Due to the sanctions that are personal, applied only to corrupt officials (the Regime is lying when it affirms that they are for the country) in the last two years a social elite has emerged closely linked to the Regime that is dedicated to laundering Dollars within the country, owners of businesses or empowered by the expropriated industries, because they can no longer do business abroad, those people are the ones who appear in the media and news agencies controlled by the regime, showing that there is progress in Venezuela, but the truth is that the citizens On foot we are in critical poverty and those of us who do not eat from the garbage is because we produce something else to complement wages and salaries, those who cannot do that even die of hunger in the queues while they wait to be paid a subsidy"
