Are you in a crypto cult? A little bit of comedy (or reality for some) on the ten signs that you might be in a crypto cult. **First rule**, everyone talks about crypto. **Second rule**, every sentence ends with ‘to the moon’. **Third rule**, your ‘reliable’ source of knowledge is a swarm of Youtubers who’ve exactly 8 weeks of experience on the subject matter and have every thumbnail as a shocked face with ‘this coin is about to 100x’ next to it. **Fourth rule**, you base your investment strategy on tweets from billionaires and if a coin has any involvement with a fluffy animal. **Fifth rule**, never do your own research - trust Reddit’s hype thread experts. **Sixth rule**, buy high, sell low and never hodl. **Seventh rule**, you class yourself as experienced after 3 weeks in the market and spending all your cash on dogecoin, cumrocket and the latest sham coins. **Eighth rule**, ignore any and all data that challenges the cult's opinion. Trust that your billionaire marketer will come back to save you with a tweet. No one knows better than the cult because everything else is a cover-up or conspiracy from the government. **Ninth rule**, tell anyone and everyone that x sham coin will be the Eth killer or flip Bitcoin in x years. **Tenth rule**, forget smart investing strategies and put everything you have into one asset because YOLO, right? *Does any or all of this sound familiar?* Then perhaps you’ve fallen prey to a crypto cult my friend.
