Banshee Banshee is a brilliantly thought out dramatic crime series with a little something for everyone, crime, action, sex you name it, and is a great believable story line and plot set in the Amish town of Banshee, Pennsylvania on Cinemax TV which aired in 2013. Actor Antony Starr, who assumes the identity of Lucas Hood, the town's murdered sheriff, to hide from powerful crime lord Rabbit played by Ben Cross, his partners father, goes on the rampage as he attempts to restore all he has lost, during a 15 year sentence, fights against unforeseen forces Starr plays an ex con recently released after his vengeful father in law sets out to destroy him and goes in search of his pre sentence partner Anastasia played by Ivana Miličević, but in doing so enters a whole world of hurt.
