Most people Today look at Airdrops as free crypto, but would you be suprised to realise that Airdrops have become synonymous with Airdrop phishing scams, designed to steel whatever crypto or NFTs you may HODL in that Airdrops associated Web3 wallet. This can happen by tricking unsuspecting airdrop claimees into giving up their seed phase or by linking your wallet to a dubious or shady Dapp or website, giving them premission to access your funds through malicious code. Best to double check and make sure the Airdrop source is reliable, if in doubt, leave it or you could lose any funds held in that web3 wallet.
