Hello my beautiful noise friends. I have been busy with Zoe's school. Photo was taken this morning. That is my "I wake up like this look". Hehehe my face is so big. My sister called while she's in the hospital with my mom. We greeted my sister a happy birthday because it's the 20th of September here but it's the 19th of evening in New Jersey. My mom undergo MRI and they found a tumor in her back which affected her walking and giving her pains in her hands, legs abdomen, back and head. They're still trying to know what's the best option for her. If they will do laser treatment or operation. Actually we are preparing for my mom's going home to the Philippines because it's her wish. She don't want to continue her medication for her cancer and all she wants is to come home. I hope everything will be okay and she will gain her strength to travel a very long airplane ride. Please include my nanay Columba Navida in your prayers. It will help a lot. Thank you so much.

Hello lovely noisers! Yesterday after I walked our dog in the garden I went back to take some photos. This is a rambutan fruit (Nephelium lappaceum) I took from our 2nd tree. The first one has been harvested. Rambutan name means "hairy". The fruit looks like lychee and you can find this fruits from Southeast Asia. It is rich in vitamin C, fiber and other nutrients and according to Google it can reduce the risk of having a cancer for some individuals.

I hope you guys could have a time and talk to her and asked her how she is right now. Unfortunately there has been a fire on here place just under her apartment or condo maybe 2 weeks ago and her only companion Trinity is not well. I hope we can help her in our own little way just asking her how she feels or how they're doing and maybe a little support in the other platform. And most of all your prayers for them. According to what she told me the place she's staying right now is not safe for them. She said someone is trying to break in the house. Please guys let's help her. Thank you and God bless us all.

A rainy morning to all good evening to other parts of earth. Yesterday I went to our town and bring some rambutan to some of our relatives and my mom's friend. I did some errands and had my hair cut short. I want it shorter but the beautician said I have a small head so I have be contented with this hair style. Zoe said I look like Dora the explorer! Hahaha...what do you think of my $2 haircut? P80 hair cut and a tip of P20.

Hello my dear friends. Happy weekend to all. Yesterday Zoe took a photo of me and my nanay (mom) on a video call while I'm picking some rambutan fruit. Nanay wants to see us harvesting and it makes her happy that the tree she planted has plenty of fruits. If she's here the three of us will surely enjoy picking the fruits together. Another variety of those fruit has plenty of fruits too but it's not ripe and the color of its skin will be yellowish while this one is red. The other variety is more juicy than this.

It's a gloomy afternoon here in my place but I hope your day is as bright as those yellow flowers. And I hope that we could see a light in this darkest days in our lives. My sister and my mom went to see an eye doctor because my mom is complaining that she's always dizzy and having a headache in the extend of vomiting. The doctor said she has a cataract and need an operation but my mom refuse to do so. She said that she's old now and she's going to die anyway why bother. And she can barely walk now even with a help. That's why my sister who got operated 2 months ago is complaining that her stomach hurts inside. So my mom said to me that she cried in the room after being alone and asking God why she is suffering too much with her cancer and the people around her. She's asking God if she did something bad or a big sin in her life to be punished like this. And me I can't do anything but just listen to her and cry too. And asking God to help my mom and our family through this all. And I thank platforms like this that I can write and let it all out in my chest. Please help me say a little prayer for my mom Columba Navida to be healed. 🙏 Thank you so much.

My sunset 2 days ago because it is past midnight already here in the Philippines and it's September 1! Philippines has the longest celebration of Christmas and it starts now! 2 days ago I got vaccinated and yesterday I feel so terrible. My body and head is aching and heavy. I feel like I'm going to throw up and I have a fever. Zoe did a good job in taking good care of me. I wake up so early today and I can't go back to sleep now. I feel much better today.

A rainy morning from Iloilo Philippines! How are you noisers? I hope that everyone is well and healthy. It's been a cold day to us here. It's been raining for two days now. Last night I dream about my mother. We're in a high place a mountain maybe but there's a sea down at the side. The water became high and I saw it coming to us so I told my mom to hug the tree next to us. We got hit by the wave but we were okay. Then another one is coming and hit us again. I saw people down the hill and I told my mom that we should go before the next tide will hit us. We run to the house in the top of the mountain we knock and my cousin open the house. I told them to go up on the 2nd floor of the house. The next thing I know we're outside then my mom fell on the hill and I came to her crying as I saw her hurt. I brought her to the hospital and then I woke up. What do you guys think the meaning of my dream?

Forgot to post my sunset yesterday. It was Zoe who told me about the beautiful sky so I hurried up into my window and take a quick snap. We're getting ready for our daily rosary that time. We're praying for my mom and some friends to get well and for the pandemic to end.

Zoe and I are busy going to my aunt's house to pray for my cousin's soul. Actually I feel so exhausted this day. I'm having a headache right now. Before we go I'm leaving you with this lovely flower.

As I finished taking photos of the sunset this evening I just sat by my window and think about life. Just like sunset as it ended the day my cousin's life has just ended. He passed away last Tuesday due to pancreatic cancer last stage. They only knew he has cancer after he got vaccinated for Covid. He began to feel the pain in his stomach. He got admitted to the hospital and got his CT scan. They found big tumor and mass and it has already spread. One of our cousin in the US, a doctor read the CT scan and he said it's too late. He said our cousin may last for 4 months but it didn't last long not even a month he died. I'm so worried of my mom also battling cancer. She has stage 3 stomach cancer and she is not feeling well this days. Our neighbor is also suffering of breast cancer stage 4 and waiting for her time. My friend's sister also battling breast cancer but I think she's getting better and so on. Big C is really scary. One of my former coworker in the hospital was diagnosed with cancer and he ended his life without trying to be treated. He killed his self by shooting his head with a gun. I hope and pray that soon enough there will be much better cure for cancer and not only that also for Covid to end very soon because it makes it more harder. I hope and pray. 🙏

It's rainy season means common colds season too but because of Covid you will get nervous and panic. Yesterday it is been raining the whole day but this morning we have a good weather so I washed our clothes and dry it under the sun but as we are having our lunch the rain poured so I hang out clothes inside. It has been gloomy after that as you can see in my sunset photo.

Hello wonderful people of noise! A lovely day to all. One of the things I want to learn about photography is capturing a small objects. Here's one of my macro shot of a flower in our garden. I don't have a good camera. I only used my phone camera which is not that good. It's hard to focus and it's blurry most of the time. I have to take it over and over again until I can get a decent shot.

My family is facing so many problems now a days. Aside from my mom and sister who got hospitalized one of my aunt died because of Covid complications and one of my cousin is diagnosed with cancer in his pancreas. It is more difficult because of this pandemic. We are just hoping and praying for all of them. We entrust them to the Lord. That's all we can do.

It's a brand new day and a brand new hope. All we can do is hope for the best day to come. Like the sunrise that gives us hope for a better day. I hope this situation we are having right now will end soon. Our town has the highest Covid number in Iloilo City right now. My mom in New Jersey is in the hospital for 2 days due to fever and her throat hurts. She has an early pneumonia according to the doctor. Good thing my sister bring her to the hospital at the soonest. Sha had a CT scan yesterday and she has a blood clot in her neck where it hurts. She will have a minor operation to take out the port in her body which is used during her chemotherapy. She has stage 3 stomach cancer in top of that all but I guess it's a good news that they are getting the port out it means she don't need it anymore. She is taking her chemo medicine orally for couple of months now. We are just hoping for the best for my mom and to the whole world in general.

People come and go in our life. I have met a beautiful soul in one of the platform I'm in. This morning I saw someone posted a video of her resting place with her photo. She died a week ago. Although I haven't met her in person I did cry when I found out and it was my first time to see her face in that video. I know that she's happy now and she will be missed by many.

A wonderful day everyone! Have a blessed Sunday. Here's a lovely flower I captured in the back of our property where my cousin and her family lives. She said it is called insulin plant so I googled it. It really called as insulin plant. According to what I read it is used for type 1 and 2 diabetes.
Before I say my goodnight. I want to share with you our precious memory. It's a photo taken the night of Zoe's christening. We had a long tiring but a happy occasion. Many of my relatives from Kalibo in my father's side joined us as we welcome Zoe to the Christian world. Of course the Fernandez clan are also present and all our friends including my friends during my collage days. My fellow working students at University of Iloilo. Zoe tried the cupcake and she loves it. Hehehe it's just the icing. I let her taste just a little. She was smiling as she saw her face in the phone camera.

Zoe's hobby is to draw. She made the owl for one of my friend and also your friend (for some of you) Heather King. The other one she said it's a shape art. You have to cut the paper on shapes you like and draw from it. She has heart and this not so perfect circle. She did drew a tree on day and night.
