I found this dropped in the garden today and it seemed so normal that I almost ignored it, but after a moment I felt lucky to have it in my hands. It doesn't seem like a big deal, but a question suddenly arose: How is it that small, thin pieces of plant material and even plastic become a refuge to allow a fragile life to emerge and develop? The answer is design, structural design more exactly.
