Happy busy Thursday my lovelies, I hope you are all too, kidding. Anyway, I woke up late as my partner and I traveled back to my province at midnight as it’s his available time. Even though I already told him that I can manage myself and thus he doesn’t need to bring me home, he insists. Our place is way too far and it really takes effort to drive a motorcycle knowing that it’s gonna be a humpy bumpy road lol. I am lucky to have him as he never leaves me and always makes sure that I come home safe and sound. Nevertheless, let’s move on to the topic that I’m going to write about, as I also need to assess if I already took care of myself or not. Without further ado, let’s start.
Did I practice self-care today?
Do I? Upon realising how my day went, I can say yes I did.
Describe your favourite self-care activity in a gif.
If I have this favourite self-care everyday that would be a hug. When I hug him it seems that I forget everything that’s happening in my life, those pressures and stress especially in my upcoming event. When he hugged me it made me comfortable and safe. It always reminds me that no matter what, he will be there for me. Mostly, I’m into emotional care co’z if my mental health is stable and healthy then I am too.
How many cups of water did you drink today?
Since I’ve already experienced how painful UTI is, I always drink no less than 8 glasses per day. Besides, I badly need to take good care of myself even more.
Ate three main meals
As I get older, I am now fond of eating, there are times that I won’t just eat 3 times a day but more than that excluding some merienda and snacks. When I am in the province I don’t need to spend more money as it is sometimes available in the backyard. My breakfast, lunch and dinner are commonly healthy when I’m in my house as my mother always cooked vegetables. But when I’m in the city it’s mostly gonna be readymade or canned foods.
Took some time off social media
When I am done publishing and reading 20 articles and I don’t have anything to do with my studies then I always give myself some time to take off. I also notice that some are now toxic and unreliable which I really don’t like. I am also now trying to unfriend and unfollow those people who are literally toxic that usually ruin my mind and mood. I am now trying to find those creators who can lift my mood or just those who aren’t toxic.
Spent some time outside
What I mean with this one is outside the house. When I am in the province I usually stay in the sway under the tree. In that way I can think properly adding the music that would give me a good vibes.
Had a mini pamper
Nature, it is where I can find my peace. The green scenery, fascinating view and just simply appreciating its beauty. Fresh air and how the branches and leaves dance with its own rhythm made me relax and happy. When the heavy feelings become light by just being one with nature. I also love roaming around and just simply find any fruits that I would love to eat.
