It's a new month, Don't give up.

Happy New Month friends. Welcome to May. It's a new beginning of another journey and I believe God will go with us this month. In this month, I would like to indulge us on something very important and can keep us going on the track. "NEVER GIVE UP"

A story goes thus: There were two frogs, a slim and a fat frogs. They were best of friends as they met together in the forest. They have been surviving together and working things together until one day.

They saw a big bucket afar off and being curious to know what was inside, they left for the bucket and because they were short creatures, they decided to jump into the bucket. As they jumped, the bucket was filled with Milk but something happened. They tried getting out but they couldn't.

They started swimming, thinking something or someone will come to their aid but they kept swimming through the day. The fat frog was now tired and he told his friend "I am tired, I don't think I can continue this again. I don't even think we would get out of here, so, we will both die inside this bucket". The thin frog encouraged him saying "Fat frog, don't give up, let's keep swimming probably we will get out, don't give up now please". The frog begged his friend not to give up but continue trying hard.

They tried and tried till the next day but at this point, the fat frog couldn't swim again, he was so tired and gave up and died. It really pained the thin frog because his friend is gone. But he kept going and said "I will never give up, I will continue till I find a way". He continued and kept trying.

Then at night, the milk has turned to butter and was now thick due to their swimming. The frog managed to get out of the bucket and was so happy but sad at the same time. He was happy because he never gave up but came out alive. He was sad because he lost his friend to the struggle.

The frog was left alone in the forest for many days and weeks until he finally met a female frog which they mate together and gave birth. When the frog's children grew up, he told them his story and how his friend gave up. Though he still misses him but advises his children not to give up in life.

In this life, we pass through many challenges and troubles on the way but when we give up, we die. Life may be tough but we must be tougher to never give up. The fat frog could have continued struggling but he decided to give up. Let me say this: "the moment you give up, you are dead".

When I was invited to this platform some months back, I only was active for two or three days and I gave up. I never enjoyed the benefits here since the day I gave up, until I was prompted to come back and ever since then, I continued to stay active and here I am, benefitting and enjoying this beautiful platform.

Though it may look as if no one is helping

Though it may feel as though you are nothing

Though you may have tried all your best

But the day you give up on them, marks your death. Even if you aren't dead physically, you won't move forward because you already filled your thoughts with negativity. This life requires you to be positive and be optimistic in all things.

When you give up, you have given the chance of failure in your life. You may have tried several times, don't give up but keep going. The last step might open ways for you.

The thin frog never gave up because he believed there is hope for him. "Once there is life, there is hope". All problems are temporary and no one is permanent unless you dictate that yourself. When you stopped trying, the problem keeps escalating and you will always be subject to the problems. The problems starts controlling you and by then, you don't have a choice anymore.

This is a new month to get up and get going. The road is tough and not smooth as you have thought it to be but you can decide how the road should be for you. This can only be done when you don't give up.
