He ignited the Love - Final Part

So far, thanks to everyone following up this fictional story even though most of you thought I am trying to share my own love story 🙄

Well, I am waiting for that day to come 🥱

Our love started growing and a day will not pass that we don't talk, chat and gist. Many times I have slept off while chatting with him. Many times, I will be dozing off while at work with my system. It got to a point my boss was suspecting me and he called me one day into his office.

Bisi, I have noticed you these days. You are always sleeping on your work. Is anything the matter? No sir, everything is fine. I replied.

You had better caution yourself before you lose this job. Okay Sir, I walked back to my office smiling and giggling too.

It's now five months of our love escapades and Michael is planning on taking me home to meet his parents. I was delaying things with my work. Thank God for the man he is. So patient and understanding.

My boss called me into his office one morning and asked me to go meet one of our clients for a business collaboration. He gave me her contact. I agreed to go and immediately gave the client a call. We both decided to meet at a restaurant that same morning.

I took my car keys and went to the said restaurant. I got there before her and I waited inside. I ordered for a drink and was on my phone when I saw someone opened the door. Guess who I saw? It was Michael with a girl.

Oh my God! Am I dreaming? What is he doing here with a lady? What the hell was going on? Have I been dumped again? Then, it was Ben and now Michael. What is going on for God's sake?

My mind was telling me to face him, another voice was saying "Don't go".

I picked up my car keys. Why should I wait again? Of course I won't concentrate on the meeting. I called the woman and lied that something personal came up and I needed to attend to it urgently. I drove away heading home.

The lack of focus landed me in the hospital. Thank God it wasn't serious. I was on the hospital bed when my phone was ringing. It was Michael. I couldn't pick it. I was just staring at my phone and tears dropped down from my eyes. Why is this happening God? Why me again?

After some hours, I was discharged and I went home in my car, a staff drove me home to see nothing happened again. I thanked her and she left.

For days, I didn't talk to him even though he kept calling, sending me text messages. He even kept chatting me up but wouldn't reply him.

I never allowed that take over my Job as I can't stand another heart break again. So, I was always going to work.

I came back home one evening and met a letter dropped at my door step. I picked it and it was from him.

"Hi love, is there something you aren't telling me? You stopped picking my calls. What is wrong? Is that the end? Why are you avoiding me? At least talk to me, let me know what is happening. I can't stand this pls. I need you. Please come back to me. I love you."

I tore the letter and went inside. I was still thinking about everything, remembering the past when I heard a knock on my door. It's past 7pm, who would be knocking at this time? I am not expecting anyone.

Who is it? I asked but no one answered me. The person kept on knocking until I went to open the door. I saw Michael standing by the door with this same lady I met that day.

What are you doing here? I shouted. I can see in his eyes, Michael was shocked. It was as if he didn't know what was going on and he even brought the same lady again to my house.

Meet my little sister he said.

What? Your sister?

Yes, this is Hannah. She came back from the states last month, she just graduated from the University and came back home.

Hannah meet Bisi, my babe I have been telling you about. I was shocked. I couldn't hold myself back. I was impatient. I didn't wait to hear him out. I should have confronted him before now.

I walked them inside. I served Hannah and I held his hand and we both went upstairs. Mich, you didn't tell me you had a sister. Well, you never asked about my family, he replied.

Why aren't you picking my calls? He retorted. I explained everything to him. All he could do was to laugh. Yes, I deserved that.

He looked at me and was like "Babe, I didn't know this was it. I thought I had loosed you. I kept imagining and thinking what could be wrong. I kept coming here everyday but I never met you. I couldn't eat not drink. I wasn't my usual self anymore. My parents were worried. The day you saw I and my sister was her birthday. I came to celebrate with her. I tried reaching you then but I don't know if it was the network".

Michael held my hands and said "Love, I will never betray you, I love you sincerely and I mean it. I am not going back. I love you and will always do".

I looked at him and we kissed each other. They both left afterwards. The following weekend, Michael took me home and got me introduced to his parents. We tied the knot.

"For better for worse. For richer for poorer. Till death do us part".

The pastor joined us together and everyone clapped.
